Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2019, forwarded by the first respondent in his letter no.Oo.Mu.(A1)/29178/2019 dated 03.12.2019, for grant of patta in favour of the petitioner, in respect of agricultural lands comprised in S.No.151/5 measuring an extent of 1.32 Acres, S.No.154/1 measuring an extent of 0.88 acres and S.No.151/6 measuring an extent of 0.15 acres in total measuring an extent of 2.35 acres in Arumparuthi Village, Cheyyar Taluk, in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the the third respondent to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2019, forwarded by the first respondent in his letter no.Oo.Mu.(A1)/ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

29178/2019 dated 03.12.2019, for grant of patta in favour of the petitioner.

2.Heard both sides.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and made a statement on instructions that enquiry is fixed at 11.00 a.m., on 08.03.2021 at the Office of the RDO, the second respondent herein.

4. The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

5.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2019 through a speaking order within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
