O R D E R
The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent- Madras University, made a submission that the enquiry, as directed by this Court, had been conducted by the Registrar, Madras University and a report is submitted now to the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Periyar University, in a sealed cover. In respect of delay in concluding the enquiry and submitting the report, the
Registrar had tendered an apology and the same is accepted. However, it is made clear that the Periyar University has to act based on the enquiry report now submitted by the Registrar, Madras University and initiate appropriate actions within a period of six weeks from today.
2. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the Periyar University, also states that actions will be taken in all respects based on the enquiry report and based on the documents available with the Periyar University.
3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of both the parties, the present contempt petition stands closed.
