..Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.6637/Tamil 2/2008, dated 23.01.2009 and to quash the same and may also be pleased to consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant monthly family pension under the Scheme of aged Tamil Scholar with effect from October 2006.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent dated 23.01.2009, whereby the petitioner's representation seeking pension under "Tamil Pulavar" category has been rejected.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner received pension at the rate of Rs.2,000/- per month till he died on 18.04.2018. Hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
