ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking direction to the District Collector to consider his representation dated 14.02.2018, wherein he has made a request to consider his objections and not to erect the High Tension Lines through his lands.

2. Since the second respondent is under the charge of overall supervision for the portion of commissioning the Raigargh-Pugalur 800KV HVDC project, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent on 14.02.2018 requesting to consider his objections and not to erect the High Tension Lines through his lands, citing a reason that the said transmission line has been deviated from the original sanctioned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

route, which was supposed to cross Magarangampalayam Village abutting the National Highways NH44.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.

4. This Court, considering the limited prayer and without going into the merits of the matter, hereby directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.02.2018 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
