2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the petitioner passed away. Though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', the learned counsel submitted that he is not able to get the particulars of the legal heirs of the petitioner and prayed for short accommodation. 2/4

3.The writ petition is of the year 2005. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not able to even tell when the petitioner died and therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
