O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 2 to 13, to implement the order of the Inspector General of Registration issued in No.24664/A3/2003 dated 29.05.2003.
2.The writ petitioner is the Tamil Nadu Government Office Assistant Basic Servant, Central Association and the treasurar, who filed the present writ petition has already retired from service.
3.This apart, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the Inspector General of Registration subsequently issued clear instructions / circulars to all the Sub Registrars in proceedings No.4429/E1/2007 dated 08.02.2007 and recently also, the circulars / instructions are issued in proceedings dated 08.12.2017, 28.09.2017, which all are in force. 4.It is needless to state that all the Subordinate officials are bound to follow the circulars / instructions issued by the Inspector General of Registration and in view of
the subsequent developments, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.
5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
