PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the respondents culminated in the impugned Circular dated 29th December, 2008, issued by the third respondent Tamilnadu Olympic Association and the consequential order Lr.Rc.No.17571/EM-1/2008, 20.02.2009 issued by the second

respondent the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu and quash the impugned orders.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner Association is not functioning as on today and he is not able to get instructions from them and hence, the Writ Petition may be dismissed as infructuous.
