Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the relief as stated therein to issue writ of Habeas Corpus, directing to produce the detenue Kalpana, minor, aged 17 years, D/o Gnanasekar, (late) before this court and set her at liberty.

Petitioner, is a widow. Her minor daughter Kalpana, was found missing from 26.01.2015. Therefore, she gave a complaint on 27.01.2015 to the Inspector of Police, Taluk Station, Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District. Alleging that one Vikky alias Vignesh, S/o. Kuppan, residing at Vippedu Village, Kancheepuram Taluk & District, has kidnapped her. Contending inter alia that no action was taken on the complaint, Writ of Habeas Corpus Petition, is filed.

2. Alleged detenue, minor Kalpana, aged 17 years is produced before this Court.

3. We enquired her. She submitted that she is willing to go with her mother. She also stated that she is conceived. Taking note of her physical condition, we deem it fit to direct the Inspector of Police, Taluk Station, Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District, to have the alleged detenue, medically checked by a competent Doctor. As the alleged detenue has expressed her consent to go with her mother, we are not inclined to proceed further in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

4. With the above directions, the Habeas Corpus petition is closed.
