Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2017 to recover the various properties and Hundi money belonging to "Arulmighu Periyanayaki Sametha Karaikandeswarar Temple" of Kanji Village, Chengam Taluk and to render proper accounts for the income of the Temple.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2017 to recover the various properties and Hundi money belonging to "Arulmighu Periyanayaki Sametha Karaikandeswarar Temple" of Kanji Village, Chengam Taluk and to render proper accounts for the income of the Temple.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the Page No.2 of 4
materials available on record.
3. Though the petitioner has made a representation dated 15.11.2017 to recover the various properties and Hundi money belonging to "Arulmighu Periyanayaki Sametha Karaikandeswarar Temple"of Kanji Village, Chengam Taluk and to render proper accounts for the income of the temple, however, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that, earlier properties of the said temple was brought for action, however, no bidder was available, thereby, again, the auction is going to be conducted on 25.09.2024. He assured that the properties owned by the said temple will be protected and if anyone encroaches the same, proceedings u/s 78 of HR & CE Act will be initiated against them.
4. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
