ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A8, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 4 (1) (aaa), 4 (1-A) of TNP Act r/w 6 & 11 of R.S.Rules 2000 on the file of the respondent police in Crime No.171 of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were alleged to have been in possession of 120 brandy bottles without any valid licence.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this petitioner has been falsely implicated and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the investigation is not yet over and there is no previous case as against the petitioner of similar nature .

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of her arrest or on her appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpattu and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
