This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 15.03.2018 and provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to enter into his property situated in survey No.383/1, admeasuring 1 Acre and 88 Cents in Maapadugai Village, Mayiladuthurai Taluk, Nagapattinam District without any hindrance.

2. The petitioner has not impleaded A.D.Packirisamy as party respondent, despite the specific direction issued by this Court on 04.04.2018. It is seen that there are civil disputes between the petitioner and the said A.D.Packirisamy and an appeal is pending in A.S.No. 18 of 2016 on the file of Principal Sub-Court, Mayiladuthurai.

3. In such view of the matter, no police protection can be granted to the petitioner, in proceedings under Section 482 CrPC. It is always open to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court, seeking police protection. However, if there is any threat of violence on the person of the petitioner, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the local police.
