PRAYER: This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents for willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.12696 of 2015 dated 28.04.2015 under the Contempt of Court Act. O R D E R

Stating that the District Forest Officer has not send revised proposal for pension to the Principal Accountant General, the petitioner had filed the present contempt petition for disobedience of the order of this Court dated 28.04.2015 in W.P.No.12696 of 2015.

2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate has produced the counter affidavit, dated 16.06.2021, filed by the District Forest Officer, Dharmpauri Division, in which, it is stated that in compliance to the orders of the High Court, a revised pension proposal was sent to the Principal Accountant General and consequently, revised authorization for payment of pensionary benefits of the petitioner was issued on 11.09.2018. In view of the action taken by the respondent, disobedience alleged by them cannot be treated to willful in nature. 2/3
