O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records in order dated 11.09.2018 in Approval Petition No.237/2014 on the file of the Special Joint Commissioner of Labour, Teynampet, Chennai and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the parties submitted a joint memo filed by the petitioner and the respondents dated 08.12.2021, reporting settlement between the parties. The contents of the joint memo dated 08.12.2021 are extracted hereunder:

"JOINT MEMO FILED BY BOTH PARTIES

1. The Writ Petitioner agrees to settle and the 2nd respondent/Workman agrees to get settlement of service/terminal benefits in terms of Proposal No.1, in para 2(i) of the Government Letter No.5370/C2/2021, Transport C(2) Department, dated 24.07.2021.

2. Both parties agree for disposal of the above writ petition in terms of this joint memo. 3.The Management agrees to settle all the benefits within a period of 12 weeks."

3. The joint memo filed by the parties dated 08.12.2021, has been taken on record. The contents of the joint memo shall form part and parcel of this order.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the joint memo dated 08.12.2021. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
