ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the third respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.771 of 2018 and file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the third respondent has registered the FIR in the above said crime number on 09.07.2018, no final report has been filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
