in both W.Ps Prayer in W.P.No.15348 of 2005 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari, to call for the records of the 1st respondent made in his proceedings D.O.No.185/05, C3 P.R.37/04 dated 31.03.2005 suspending the petitioner from her service and quash the same.

Prayer in W.P.No.15349 of 2005 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in his proceedings in Tha.Pa.No.C3/37/2004 dated 10.09.2004 and quash the same.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that while the petitioner was working as Women Police Constable at Kairulabath Police Station, Ariyalur District, she was placed under suspension and charge memo was also issued. Subsequently, enquiry officer was appointed and after due enquiry the Disciplinary Authority by order dated 28.10.2013 imposed punishment of postponement of her next increment for six months which shall not affect her future increments. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the Department by way of filing a revision petition and the same was also rejected by the Department. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
