When it is pointed out by the Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents that the order impugned in the Writ Petition has been passed in pursuance of the directions issued by this Court in P. Lakshmanan -vs- Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai District (Order dated 12.02.2018 in W.P. (MD) No. 14428 of 2017) and that the Petitioner has got an effective alternative remedy to challenge the same by way of revision under Section 21 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to resort to the same and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. 2.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No Costs.
