(Judgment of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This appeal is pending from the year 2022 without any progress and the records shows that the learned counsel for the appellant took many adjournments to argue the appeal on merits.

Today, when the matter is called for hearing, learned Senior Counsel for the respondent is present before us and ready to argue the matter. But, the learned counsel for the appellant is not ready to argue the appeal on merits and seeks adjournment, which shows that the learned counsel for the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the appeal.
