The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to remove the encroachments of the platform on Pillaiar Kovil Street and in front of petitioner's property blocking access from his property.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner though filed the present writ petition in the year 2004, thereafter, the road was constructed as one way. Now after a lapse of about 15 years, nothing survives in the present writ petition for further consideration.
