Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, after calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 19.08.2010 issued by the 1st respondent in R.No.86261/MP4/S3/10, quash the same insofar as not including the petitioner's name in the panel of persons who were found fit for promotion to the post of Non-medical Supervisor for the year 2010-11 and consequently direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the said panel and to promote the petitioner to the post of Non-medical Supervisor from the date on which his Juniors were promoted with all arrears and consequential benefits.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, through Video-Conferencing, made a submission that the writ petition has become infructuous and no further adjudication needs to be made in respect of the grounds raised in the writ petition.
