Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents, their men, agents, servants, subordinates or anybody acting on their behalf from in any way constructing channel, laying pipe line through the petitioner land in S.No.283/2B, H.A 1.15.5 new sub division S.No.283/2B2, H.A.1.11.5, Pollupalli Village, Krishnagiri District. The prayer being what is being stated above, the fact remains that the petitioner's land is being proposed for acquisition. 2.Mr.V.Anandhamurthy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and made a statement that the petitioner's land and others were notified for acquisition and a preliminary notice under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 has been issued. The petitioner has responded to it with his objection dated 21.11.2020 and he was called for an enquiry scheduled to take place on 19.01.2021. The learned Additional Government Pleader further stated that the petitioner did not appear before the Land Acquisition Officer, who is the RDO, Krishnagiri District, but, he has not been made a party to the Writ Petition. He further submitted that no final declaration has yet been made. 3.Given the scenario, this Court chooses to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner to appear before the RDO, Krishnagiri District on 24.02.2021 at 11.00 a.m. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
