Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2009 and consider the request of the Grade I Physical Education Teachers by directing them to take classes only from Standard 6th to 8th and the Grade II Physical Directors by making them to attend only classes from Standard 9th and 10th or in the alternative increase the pay scale equivalent to that of the B.T.Assistants / P.G. Assistants handling classes 9th and 10th / 11th and 12th respectively for Physical Education Teachers and the pay scale equivalent to that of the P.G.Assistants handling the Higher Secondary level for the Grade II Physical Directors.
