Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent in G.O.Ms.No.6, Commercial Taxes and Registration (H1) Department dated 29/01/2009 and the consequential letter No.8647/H1/2008-7 dated 29.01.2009 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same in so far as the denial of promotion to the petitioner and directing the respondents to include her name in the panel of promotion to the post of Assistant Inspector General Registration for the year 1996-97 and include her name in the panel promotion to the post of Deputy Inspector of Registration for the year 1998-99 and further directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's claim and promote her to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Registration and grant the petitioner all consequential service and monetary benefits on par with her juniors.
