issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order dated 09.01.2024 passed by the second respondent in Cr.M.P.No.02/2024, GOONDA/Ariyalur District/2024 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely Prabu, S/o.Madhaiyan @ Madhavan, aged about 25 years, Pathmavathi Nagar, Thandeswaranallur, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District, who is presently under going detention in the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982) before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.902, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated
15.02.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
