The petitioner/A.1, who was arrested on 25.04.2016, for the offences punishable under Sections 174 of Cr.P.C @ into 498(A) and 304B of IPC in Crime No.95 of 2016, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner / Accused No.1 and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and his wife jointly approached the defacto complainant and requested for a sum of Rs.50,000/- and he refused to offer payment to them and subsequently, the deceased, who is the petitioner's wife has committed suicide by hanging.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/A.1 is innocent and he has not committed any offence. He further submitted that A.2 and A.3, who are mother and brother of A.1, have already been released on bail.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State submitted that the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer has reported that it is a case of dowry death.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the report of the Revenue Divisional Officer, as represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), coupled with the fact the petitioner/A.1 is the husband of the deceased and the overt act attributed against the petitioner, this Court is of the view that this is a not fit case to grant bail to the petitioner / Accused No.1.
