Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to register FIR against the fourth respondent under the Prevention of Corruption Act and enquire the same and bring the fourth respondent to justice. 1/4

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to register FIR against the fourth respondent under the Prevention of Corruption Act and enquire the same and bring the offender to justice. For Petitioners : Mr.D.Prabhu Mukunth Arunkumar For Respondents : Mr.P.Ganesan for R1 to R3 Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The writ petitions have been filed seeking to register FIR against the fourth respondent under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Since the issue involved in these writ petitions are interrelated, they are heard together and disposed of by way of a common order. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are retired employees of the Motor Vehicles Department and they participated in the enquiry against the fourth respondent in which no specific complaint has been made. Hence, this Court may, without going into the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioners to make specific complaint as against the fourth respondent before the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption in future.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the writ petitions stand disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
