ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents herein to sub-divide the land in Survey No.64 1/A of Chimmanapudur Village Thirupathur Taluk and District to an extent of 53 cents and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and in the names of his two minor sons. 2.Heard both sides.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Spl.Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is fixed at 4.00 p.m., on 05.03.2021 at the Office of the Tahsildar, 2nd respondent herein.

4. The said statement of the learned Spl.Government Pleader is recorded.

5.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the 2nd respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
