The petitioner seeks succession certificate relating to the securities which stood in the name of their father M.Chidambaram Muthiah, who unfortunately died on 14.11.2018. He died intestate.

2. A memo had been filed by the learned counsel stating that the mother of the petitioners, Mrs.C.T.Solachi had predeceased their father and had died on 03.06.2002. The Memo is recorded.

3. After following due procedure, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the petitioner MR.Muthiah was examined as PW-1 and he marked death certificate and legal heirship certificate of his father as Exs. P-1 and P-2. A memo, had been filed with the copy of the death certificate of his mother. PW-1 also marked Ex.P-3 which is the statement of the holdings given by HDFC Bank Ltd., Chennai dated 13.09.2022 relating to the shares and securities in the name of his father. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Taking the nature of the evidence into consideration, Succession Certificate may be issued to the petitioner. This Petition stands allowed.

5. Registry is directed to issue Succession certificate to the first petitioner in accordance with the rules.
