Respondent PRAYER:Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for their willful disobedience of this Court order made in W.P.No. 16882 of 2017 dated 21.11.2017.

O R D E R

This Court passed an order dated 21.11.2017, directing the respondents to disburse the encashment of Earned Leave on Private Affairs and the personal contribution to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Special Provident Fund, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. The matter was taken by way of an appeal before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and during the interregnum period, the writ petitioner was placed under suspension on the eve of his retirement in proceedings dated 14.12.2018. In another proceedings dated 28.12.2018, the petitioner was not permitted to retire and his services were extended, in view of the fact that the writ petitioner was placed under suspension subsequently, after passing of the orders by this Court on 21.11.2017. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has directed the Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department to take disciplinary proceedings to reach a logical conclusion within three months from today.

3. In view of the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the present Contempt Petition deserves no further adjudication and accordingly, the Contempt Petition Stands closed. No costs.
