This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal forwarded by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.01-2/25001/2013 dated 12.11.2013 to issue clarificatory order to the fourth respondent to grant Selection Grade/Special Grade as per G.O.Ms.No.75 Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare (ADW 7) Department dated 25.07.2012 in respect of teachers posted as Primary School Headmaster and subsequently, transferred to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in the same school prior to 01.06.1988 and consequently, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of Special Grade in the post of Primary School Headmaster with consequential revision of pension and other benefits with payment of of arrears along with interest.
2.Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 3.Considering the same, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the proposal sent by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.01-2/25001/2013 dated 12.11.2013, on merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
