Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to correct the extent mentioned in Patta Nos.968, 969 and 461 in respect of properties bearing S.Nos.132/12, 133/6, 132/1,2,3 and 128/1A3B, Thenkuthu Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District and consequently issue separate and individual pattas to the petitioners as per their Partition deed dated 07.03.2006. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to correct the extent mentioned in Patta Nos.968, 969 and 461 in respect of properties bearing S.Nos.132/12, 133/6, 132/1,2,3 and 128/1A3B, Thenkuthu Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District and consequently issue separate and individual pattas to the petitioners as per their Partition deed dated 07.03.2006. 2.Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2020 is scheduled to take place on 26.02.2021 at 03.00 p.m. at the office of the respondent/Tahsildar. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
