Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 3.1.2014 and to pass appropriate orders in the light of the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.6222 of 2004 dated 16.03.2012 within a reasonable period.

The petitioner was appointed as Library Assistant on 20.06.1984. Subsequently, he was appointed to the post of Assistant University Librarian Grade-I vide proceedings dated 29.06.2001. The petitioner joined duty on 30.06.2001. The petitioner thereafter submitted a representation to the respondent to regularize his service in the post of Assistant University Librarian Grade I. The respondent vide Memo dated 28.08.2007 informed the petitioner that his appointment as Assistant University Librarian Grade I is kept in abeyance on account of Audit Objection. It is the case of the petitioner that this court has set aside the Audit Objection vide order dated 16.03.2012 in W.P.No.6222 of 2004. The petitioner, therefore, submitted a representation on 03.01.2014 to consider his case for regularization taking into account the order passed by this court in W.P.No.6222 of 2004.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent.
3. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.01.2014 on merits and as per law and more particularly in the light of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
order dated 16.03.2012 passed in W.P.No.6222 of 2004. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
