Heard Mr.O.R.Santhanakrishnan learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Anand learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1 to 3 respondents and Mr.T.P.Prabhakaran learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the demand of arrears of lease amount Rs.13,26,722/-.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has paid entire lease amount till 2019 and the lease amount was not revised after 2007 and the issue is pending before the Government. After the rent is revised, the petitioner may be liable to pay the balance lease amount after adjusting, the excess amount paid by him.

4.In the instant case, it is admitted that the petitioner has paid the entire lease amount as demanded by the 3rd respondent which is impugned in this Writ Petition. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to mention that if any demand is made from the petitioner in future, it shall be in accordance with law. No Costs.
