Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records from the II respondent herein Na.Ka.133825/2005 Ke.Ka 2 dt.17.06.2008 and to quash the same and to direct the II respondent herein to dispose off the

application dt. 22.03.2006 made by the petitioner by granting Voluntary Retirement along with all other attendant benefits in accordance with the G.O.(Ms).No.150 Co-operative Food and Consumer Protection Dept (C.S.C) dt. 11.08.2005. Mr.B.Manimaran, learned counsel for the petitioner would state that this writ petition has become infructuous since the petitioner has retired from service in 2011 and thus, the challenge to voluntary retirement proceedings, prior to his retirement, does not survive.

2. Recording the aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
