J U D G M E N T

The State has preferred the above appeal against the judgment of acquittal passed by the trial Court in C.C.No.200 of 1997 dated 04.05.2004 acquitting the respondent from the case.

2. When the case is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) produces the death certificate of the respondent, i.e., Gajendran who died on 07.12.2024 in Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine, 77, GST Road, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai - 600

047. Further, the certification of Village Administrative Officer and the statement of Shanthi, who is the wife of the respondent has been produced confirming that the respondent is no more.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent confirms that the respondent is no more.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication
