Respondents PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings Lease and Rent Control Act 18 of 1960 as amended by Act 23(1)(b) of 1973 and Act I of 1980, to direct the XV Small Causes Court at Chennai, to dispose of RCOP No.140 of 2017 as early as possible, enabling the petitioner to see the result during his life time.

O R D E R

The above Civil Revision Petition has been filed, praying for speedy disposal of the Rent Control Petition in R.C.O.P.No.140 of 2017 pending on the file of the XV Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2.On a perusal of the materials on record, it is seen that the recording of evidence has commenced as early as on 12.12.2017 and the matter is yet to see the light of the day. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the above fact, the learned Judge, XV Court of Small Causes, Chennai, is directed to dispose of the Rent Control Petition in R.C.O.P.No.140 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Civil Revision Petition is allowed on the above lines. No costs.
