PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the panel drawn as on 01.01.2009 by the 3rd Respondent in his Proceedings No.Nil, dated Nil, for promotion to the post of Headmaster of Middle School, and quash the same, in so far as the Respondents 4 to 8 are concerned, and direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to place the petitioner as No.1 in the panel and give promotion to petitioner to the post of Headmistress of Middle School.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner was promoted as Middle School Head Master and hence, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous.

2. Recording the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed, leaving it to open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for any other claims. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
