..Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2018 made to upgrade the petitioner's Secondary Grade Teacher post as the Elementary Headmaster's post in the 4th respondent school pursuant to his proceedings in O.Mu.No.29526/G1/2016, dated 9.12.2016 within time frame.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation made to upgrade to Secondary Grade Teacher post as the Elementary Headmaster's post in the fourth respondent

school, pursuant to his proceedings dated 09.12.2016. The writ petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the fourth respondent school. The fourth respondent school was an Aided one from 1990 onwards. The writ petitioner is entitled for upgradation to the post of Elementary School Head Master in spite of the proceedings issued in this regard on 09.12.2016. The upgradation is not extended to the petitioner without any valid reason. In this regard, the writ petitioner has submitted the representations to the respondents on 17.07.17 and 26.02.2018 respectively. However, the same are kept pending without passing orders.

Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the earlier representations and other relevant documents along with a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to consider the representations 17.07.17 and 26.02.2018 respectively on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
