issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pertaining to the detention order dated 05.01.2025 in C.O.C.No.02/2025 passed by the 2nd respondent and issue direction to produce the body or person of the detenue named Karthi @ Selvakarthi aged 39 years, presently confined at Central Prison, Thiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith and quash the same.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.874, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 21.02.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
