PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to regularise the service of the petitioners on par with the other casual employees, who have absorbed earlier in terms of G.O.Ms.No.116, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, dated 07.05.1997.

The prayer in the writ petition is to regularise the services of the petitioners / Casual Labourers, as per G.O.Ms.No.116, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, dated 07.05.1997.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that all the petitioners have been absorbed as regular employees and therefore, the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, as nothing survives for further adjudication. No costs.
