Mr.C.Jagdish, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to renew the permit for the vehicle No.TN-30-K-6979 operating in the route of Salem Town Bus Stand to Omalur from 14.02.2017 to 13.02.2022. It is seen that the petitioner has made such application dated 08.02.2017 and the said application is still pending consideration before the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the order passed by this Court in C.M.A.No.1363/2013 dated 29.08.2013 followed by the No Objection Crtificate issued https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by his sisters, there may not be any impediment for the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for renewal of the permit. Since the application filed by the petitioner is pending before the respondent and it is for him to consider and pass orders on the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 08.02.2017 seeking for renewal of the permit and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
