This petition has been filed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2018 and reminder letter dated 29.12.2018 to transfer the above case to Central Bureau of Investigation or CBCID.

2. Heard both sided and perused the documents available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a compliant to the respondents including the Inspector of Police, J5 Kotturpuram Police Station, Chennai on 26.12.2018, and subsequent reminder on 29.12.2018, but no action has been taken on his complaint. Hence the petitioner has filed the present petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 5th respondent/Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kottupuram is directed to consider the complaint made by the petitioner dated 26.12.2018 and pass orders on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall furnish a copy of his complaint dated 26.12.2018 to the 5th respondent/The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kotturpuram Zone.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
