ORDER
The relief sought in this Writ Petition is to issue a Mandamus forbearing the respondents from forcibly evicting the petitioners from their respective peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land and house in survey No.9/2 Otteri Village, Pinchi Madura, Wallajha Taluk, Vellore District till the action taken by the first respondent as per the order of this Court made in W.P.No.20741 of 1999, dated 11.08.2008.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioners have already been evicted and provided with alternative accommodation, hence the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 4/6
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.No.1 of 2010 is closed. 18.06.2021 Index : yes/no Internet : yes/no msr To 1.The Collector, Vellore District.
