The grievance of the petitioner is that though he had submitted a representation dated 22.08.2022 before the respondents seeking renewal of his annual licence to operate a Cable TV Network throughout the district of Coimbatore, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, this writ petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner continues to operate the network and delay in renewal would affect the petitioner's business operations. In view of the above, he seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2022, within a time schedule.

3. Considering the limited nature of relief sought, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider 2/4

the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 16.09.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet: Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order vsi2 To
