The matter was not listed today. However, since the Police has secured the alleged detenue, the Registry was directed to put up a special list.

2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the alleged detenue, Vaidegi, stating that his daughter is illegally detained by the 3rd respondent, namely, Piradhamar.

3. The second respondent police has produced the detenue. Her father is also present. When we enquired the detenue, she had stated that she got married with one Murugan and due to the torture meted out to her, she left the matrimonial home and now, she expressed her willingness to go with her father/ petitioner . https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the detenue is a major and that she has expressed her willingness to go with her father/petitioner, we find it appropriate to permit her to go as per her wish.
