ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to secure the accused person and to remand him to custody, pending the investigation.

The respondent Police have registered an F.I.R in Crime No.441 of 2018 for an offence under Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. It is the case of the prosecution that a new vehicle was burnt by the accused person. An anticipatory bail petition filed by the accused person in Crl.O.P.No.15306 of 2018 was also dismissed by this Court as early as in June 2018. In spite of the same, the respondent Police have not made any progress in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the investigation. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to take appropriate action against the accused person and complete the investigation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and file a final report.
