31.12.1997 and the consequential demand made in letter No. KKNB/10/836/96 dated 04.03.2008/ on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and without any authority. 2. These writ petitions have been filed, challenging the impugned demand notice dated 04.03.2008 issued by the 2nd respondent.

3. It is now represented that the petitioners have paid the entire amount and the respondent Housing Board is ready to execute a sale deed in favour of the petitioners. The learned counsel for the petitioners has produced the receipt for payment of the cost.

4. In the light of the above fact, no further adjudication is required in these writ petitions, hence both writ petitions stand closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
