Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the respondent in his proceeding in Na.Ka.352781/2006/Aa2, dated 16.09.2008 and quash the same and direct the respondent to disburse the flood relief packages as claimed in the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2006 in accordance with G.O. Ms. No.652, dated 30.11.2005 and take action against the erring officials in the matter of issuance of the flood relief packages.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed challenging the proceeding Na.Ka.352781/2006/Aa2 dated 16.09.2008 and seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the flood relief packages as claimed in the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2006 in accordance with G.O. Ms. No.652, dated 30.11.2005 and take action against the erring officials in the matter of issuance of the flood relief packages.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
