Respondent(s) [R7 to R15 impleaded vide order dated 05.07.2012] Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the fifth respondent in Letter No.013019/43/G.1/G.11/2011-4 dated 21.07.2011 and consequently direct the fifth respondent to recast the seniority list by including the petitioners in accordance with Article 16(4A) of the Constitution of India.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records relating to Letter No.013019/ 43/G.1/G.11/2011-4 dated 21.07.2011, and for a consequential direction to the fifth respondent to recast the seniority list by including petitioners in accordance with Articles 16(4-A) of the Constitution of India.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, it is brought to the notice of this court by Mr.K.Raj Kumar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent TANGEDCO, that an identical writ petition filed in W.P.No.18291 of 2011 was dismissed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this court by an order dated 27.04.2012, and the said order was also confirmed by the learned Division Bench of this court in W.A.No.1215 of 2012 by an order dated 21.06.2023.

3. In the light of the above, this court does not see any reason to readjudicate the matter, and the learned counsel for the petitioner also does not dispute the legal position.

4. In the light of the above, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed and the same is accordingly dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
