This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection for Surveying

the petitioner's property based on the representation dated 23.01.2024.

2. Heard Mr.M.Abdul Kareem, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent police submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2024 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents police to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
