This writ petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent comprised in G.O.(Rt) No.982, Health & Family Welfare Department dated 03.08.2010 and that of the 3rd respondent in Ref.No.52130/E1/2/2010 dated 05.08.2010 and to quash the orders of the 1st and 3rd respondents dated 03.08.2010 and 05.08.2010 respectively in so far as it relates to the 4th respondent and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to conduct fresh counselling to the post of Associate Professor of Medicine, Madras Medical College and General Physician, Government General Hospital, Chennai.

2. By filing the writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the G.O.(Rt).No.982, Health & Family Welfare Department, dated 03.08.2010, in and by which among other persons, the petitioner Dr.K.Purushotham who was

working as Associate Professor of Medicine at Vellore Medical College was transferred and posted as Associate Professor of Medicine and Senior General Physician at Tamil Nadu Government Dental College, Chennai.

3. In view of the efflux of time and also considering the fact that the petitioner has superannuated from service, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
